Children’s pony care days

Special days for children to enjoy spending time with a pony of their own for the day.

Arriving at 10 am, bring warm clothes, a snack and lunch. You will be introduced to your pony for the day. Then you can fill him a hay net and a water bucket.  When he’s happy munching, you can get your grooming kit and brush him.  Then it will be time to tack up and ride, usually there is a lesson in the school, children will be split in to ability groups. After the lesson the children have a snack, then stable management or other activity, followed by lunch. Making sure their ponies have lunch too. In the afternoon they may go out for a ride or play games.  Finishing the day, by putting their pony out in the field.

Home time is 3pm

Times can be adjusted by arrangement.

Half days are from 10 to 12.30
